Music In Me

He who sings scares away his woes.  ~Cervantes
Music is a main part of at least 99.99% of the world’s population. Getting music stuck in your head is very easy. For example, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift, is just one of the songs that I sing for hours on end.

"You know I'd fall apart without you. I don't know how you do what you do." Hunter Hayes is a 21 year old country singer that is very talented and very hot! I have a top six list for country singers who are male and one for the females.
Which are: Males: 1. George Strait 2. Luke Bryan 3. Jason Aldean 4. Hunter Hayes 5. Brad Paisley 6. Rascal Flatts.
Female: 1.Martina McBride 2. Reba 3. Lauren Alaina 4.Carrie Underwood 5.Taylor Swift 6. Faith Hill

Being that I was raised in a family that always listens to music and couldn't go a day without it, I will always listen to it. My dad and Uncle Harold introduced me to Motley Crue, Poison, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Warrant, Green Day, Five Finger Death Punch, Pantera, Queen, and so many other bands.

Music to me is life and when I have my ear buds in, I'll zone out and visualize my life in music video form to that song.
The following is a song that my daddy wrote in the back of my baby book when I was first born and I want to dance to this at my Sweet 16 birthday party with him.

"The Maker Said Take Her"- Alabama
I was taught to believe
Never to doubt
The man up above knew what he’s
Talkin about
So when I heard that voice
So loud and clear
Speak to my heart
I knew that she must be near
The maker said take her and love her forever
Take care of her for life
And treat her right
I never was the one
To listen very well
I walk my own way
And felt what I felt
The further out of touch
With the master plan
Well she was like a flight to the promised land
The maker said take her and love her forever
Take care of her for life
Never forsake her don’t be a heart breaker
The maker said take her
And treat her right
Just treat her right
He placed an angle in the palm of my hand
And for once in my life I obeyed his commands
I’ll take her and love her forever
Take care of her for life
Never forsake her don’t be a heart breaker
The maker said take her
And treat her right
Just treat her right
Just treat her right
Take care of her for life
Never forsake her don’t be no heart breaker
The maker said take her
And treat her right
Just treat her right
For Life

Live While We're Young!

"Tonight lets get some and live while we're young!" Sounds like a new hit single to me.

Originally supposed to be released on October 1, 2012, One Direction's new single "Live While We're Young," came out a little earlier than expected. Meeting with management and discussing it with the label, Harry and Zayn thought that fans were waiting long enough.

September rolled around and about two weeks ago, "Live While We're Young" came on KISS 95.1. Fangirling was at an all time high. Cranking my stereo, my my mom told me "Oh Lord! Let the fangirling begin!" From the minute I heard my mom say that, I knew that she knew she had to learn the lyrics and love the song.

On Twitter, people were trending "#livewhilewe'reyoung" and on Facebook they were posting pictures from the video. Everyone was so excited that the new 1D single was here and the albums release is less than 2 months away.

Don't get me wrong, Justin Bieber is talented, but One Direction's album sales, sold out concerts, and over 300 million views for "What Makes You Beautiful", One Direction is a true competitor. This new single hasn't even been out a month yet and its already had over 29 million views on YouTube and more than 25 radio stations play it world wide!

Being between the ages of 18 and 20, of course they are going to be amaZAYN. See what I did there? I'm pretty sure that any person would love this album and would have them on replay all day and all night! Are you a Belieber? Are you a Directioner? Are you both?

Coming from a Directioner, I would recommend you get this album and go to a 1D concert. Buy, buy, buy! Listen, listen, listen! One Direction is sure to give you the One Direction Infection after you buy and listen to this album.

I leave you with this, "Lets go crazy crazy crazy til we see the sun! I know we only met but lets pretend its love and never never never stop for anyone! Tonight lets get some, and LIVE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG!"

Wings by Little Mix

"Mama told me not to waste my life. She said spread your wings my little butterfly. Don't let what they say keep you up at night and if they give you shh, then they can walk on by!" These are the words to a song that I am in love with. Its by a British girl band named Little Mix.

Whenever I heard this song for the first time, I got the message right away. This is honestly my favorite girl group and they are really talented. Telling listeners to not listen to the hater in their lives and to be all they can. My favorite line is "And they can't detain you, these wings are made to fly!"

They are from the UK as well and they are very sensational over here in the US. Just how the song is written is really genius and they are very clear with their message. It's like they're saying, "Haters, step aside. I've been given wings, it's time for me to fly!"

When they wrote the song, Perrie says that the band wanted to send out a message that if you chase your dreams and don't give up, your wings will take flight. You go Perrie! Zayn, her boyfriend, is in the spotlight right now as well. Being one of the heart throbs in the always gorgeous One Direction, they are always trying to record and balance a relationship. Both at which they are very good at.

Listen to the song and understand the message. Hope y'all enjoy it!

Contraversial Video (What We've Read)

Have you ever stopped to think that America's actions can backfire as soon as they are seen or heard? Or that they might cause an uproar?

YouTube, one of the most popular sites for music and laughs. When I look at it now, it's more like a site for causing problems. Two attacks in one week, yeah it's a YouTube users stupid opinion that made all this happen. What was supposed to be "freedom of speech" led to a huge mess overseas. Really? Bashing another religions prophet and thinking that they are never going to get word of it? Lord have mercy man!

Day one of the attacks left an American ambassator dead and several injured. Day two, another ambassator is dead and several more are injured. While America is left in shock as to why the attacks had happened. Tracing back to the video, they discovered that this man has bashed the prophet Muhammad and thousands upon thousands of Muslims infuriated.

So whats next? Leave the video up and let the killings continue? Or take it down and try to make peace with them. What if us Americans who want it to stop are right, and the rest of you are wrong?

Boys R Us

What would you do if you knew your crush was crushing on you hard? Thats exactly what Massie Block is asking herself.

At Massie Block's estate, all the latest clothes are in and so is the latest gossip. Claire, or as Massie calls her Kuh-Laire, and her guy friend, Cam, are hurrying up to Massie's closet because of a text message reading, "hlp!!! Guest bedroom closet. Hurry x 10." Claire thought that she would run up to the closet and see Massie in tears, mascara running down her face, and wearing last seasons Juicy jumpsuit.

Of course, she had the sobbing down pat, but she was completely wrong about the rest of her scenario. Massie looked at Cam and Claire and said, "I can't decide which which bag to donate to the homeless and which one to keep." Claire's face had that "seriously?" look to it. Holding out a dark blue Chloe Paddington clutch in her left hand and a buttery, tan Kooba in her right. Massie looked at Caire and asked which one do you like more, seeing how dress like the less fortunate?" Claire looked at Massie and Cam laughed at Claire.

"Time's up," massie said lowering her ams. "I'm keeping both." Massie was never one to get rid of her favorite designer hand bags or her favorite pair of Chanel earrings. Massie is a spoiled little girl that always has to make the "fashion crippled" with their outfits.

RIP Uncle Harold

When I was 8 years old, my Uncle Harold sadly passed away of a massive heart attack. Harold was like a second dad to me and we picked with each other all the time. He was only 27 when he died. He died in August, and his 28 birthday would be on September 19 of that year too.

Harold and I were always close and we played around just goofing off. Yeah we would sometimes had our little disagreements but we always made up for them. Having the same interest in music, we would watch the music videos for Poison and Motley Crue's music.

I would always remember the 2004 Super Bowl matchup between the Patriots and the Panthers. Harold, his wife Vicky, and their daughter Hannah, came to the house and watched it with us. Of course, Harold was pulling for the Patriots, while I at the time, was a Panther fan. Patriots won the game and he was picking on me and my dad. This is where my love for the Patriots began.

Our favorite song by the Crue is "Home Sweet Home." I would like to post this video of "Home Sweet Home" in his memeory. Love and miss you Uncle Harold. Keep Heaven laughing. (the actual music video starts at 1:25)

Current Events 9/18

Throughout this past week, attacks on the US embassy have been happening overseas.

On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, there was an attack on the US embassy that was brought on due to an Anti-Muslim film bashing Muhammad. As soon as word got out, Muslims went straight towards the US embassy overseas and shot and killed the embassator.

Soon after this attack, there was another attack. Muslims came back and killed another ambassator. This time was different though. The Muslims were burning the Us flag and were making riots. After all this, it left two ambassators dead and a nation in shock.

Some say that it was tied to the anniversary of 9/11. Others say it because of Bin Laden's death. I think it had a little to do with both. The filmaaker knew what he was doing when he made he film, but still choes to make it anyway.

America needs to wkae up and realize that our actions are sometimes causing these attacks whether we realize it or not. Yeah we had nothing to do with the fact that Bin Laden was one of the two most wanted men in the world. Or the fact that they did what they did. But we still need to realize that little stupid mistakes like making an Anti-Muslim film can backfire on us as soon as they are seen or heard.

TI-84 PLUS: Algebra 2

This week in Algebra II, we've been learning how to put our points, ((x,y)), in a graph. You have to press a million buttons to get your outcome and it's very complicated. Even I'm still getting the hang of it.

Image available at http://sclick.net/cool-gadgets/gadgets-blog-ti-84-plus-graphing-calculator-new-colors-customizable-cases-cool-gadgetsnew-high-technology-gadgets.html

We've been working on the line of best fit, and trust me, it ain't easy. When you put in your coordinates, you have to press at least six or seven buttons to get your output. After you push the buttons, you have to press more to find your final answer. So many buttons for one little problem!

You have to be sure and use them correctly; otherwise you'll get some far off number. Make sure that your x's and y's are plugged in properly. I got lost on what buttons to push and what uttons were meant to be pushed and when you pushed them.

Thankfully, Mrs.Waldrop, the teacher, made sure that we all knew what we were doing before we left and how to work the calculators. Practice makes perfect. And this will take a lot of perfecting to work these calculators.

When you try to use a TI-84 Plus calculator, make sure that you practice it with a classmate, teacher, or other people that know what the heck they are doing with the calculator!!

What We've Read: Found Poem

A few months after the attack on the World Trade Center, Rudolph Giuliani, then the outgoing mayor of New York City, called for a "soaring" memorial to the people who died on 9/11.
Two massive square voids sited within the footprints of the towers, it digs down — almost as if the collapse of the towers had pounded out a space to deposit feelings about that whole wretched day.
On all four sides of each void, waterfalls descend into a broad reflecting pool, irresistibly drawing your eyes, and your thoughts, ever downward.
The National 9/11 Memorial, to use its formal name. A 70-ft.-deep concrete "bathtub" scorched by the fires of the attack, might be kept open. Arad's design originally called for ramps that would lead visitors down to galleries 30 ft. below ground. There the names of the 9/11 dead would be inscribed on walls visible behind the curtains of falling water.
You might say that the final architects of the 9/11 memorial will be the people who pass through it every day.

To me the memorial is a great fit to the honor of the memory of the 9/11 victims. The fountain is never ending, which might symbolize how their memories and achievements will go on forever. On that September day in 2001, not one person knew what was going to happen. If we did know, could we have stopped it? Even tried to get the people out earlier?

9/11 will always be a burden on America's shoulders. To try and fix some of the security problems, we have stepped up security in airports all over the US. For the men and women who have fought for and tried to help this country in everyway possible, I want to say thank you so much for the hard work that you guys put into this country! You guys are the real heroes. Which leads me to say this, not all heroes wear capes.

Current Events: Randy Jackson Stays With "Idol"

Starting back in 2001, American Idol, has become one of the most popular talent searches in the US. The first three judges were Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson. American Idol is the name, finding talent is their game.

The first episode was aired on June 11, 2002. Thousands of people showed up for the audition and only a select number were put through to the top 24. Sending television rates through the roof, Idol was a hit. Winding down the weeks of competition, the season one finalists were Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini. Votes hit a whopping 17 million votes and would declare the winner. Ryan Seacrest, the main host, held the first ever American Idol envelope that held their futures. "And the winner of American Idol season one is, Kelly Clarkson!" This was the start of a major oppurtunity for Kelly.

As the years passed, Simon decided he wanted to work on The X Factor, which brought us One Direction in 2010! (Fangirl moment!) Paula would later leave in 2010 as well. She wanted to work on her music and be with her family. Now what are they going to do with the two empty judges seats?

In 2011, they offered Bret Michaels, (Poison's lead singer) and Miranda Lambert a seat, both turned them down. Then came the time to ask Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez if they wanted to have those seats. Of course they said yes. Auditions came and they traveled to almost eight cities.

Your 2011 season was a real nail biter. With heart throb Scotty McCreery and southern belle Lauren Alaina in your top two, everyone was on edge with who the winner may be. A record 178 million votes came in that night alone. "And the winner is, Scotty McCreery!"

With Steven and J-Lo deciding to leave the show and not return for another season, Randy was debating whether he wanted to stay or not. With Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey taking up the two empty seats, he decided that he was going to stay with Idol.

The following is list of the American Idol winners and runner ups.

2002: W: Kelly Clarkson RU: Justin Guarini
2003: W: Ruben Studdard RU: Clay Aiken
2004: W: Fantasia Barrino RU: Diana DeGarmo
2005: W: Carrie Underwood RU: Bo Bice
2006: W: Taylor Hicks RU: Katherine McPhee
2007: W: Jordin Sparks RU: Blake Lewis
2008: W: David Cook RU: David Archuletta

One Direction: My First Time

One Direction, teenage boy band heart throbs. On September 6, 2012, they took the stage and were nominated for three awards, Best New Artist, Best Pop Video, and Most Share-Worthy Video. All of which they won.

Voting started on August first and continued through September first. With other nominees such as Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato, One Direction was worried that they were going to lose for sure. But the boys knew that the almost 30 million Directioners had their backs.

Votes went through the roof with close to 25 million votes for Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis, and Liam. The day of the VMAs (Video Music Awards) had arrived and the boys were as nervous as ever. Prepping backstage for hours at a time to sing their song, "One Thing," the boys continued to encourage each other.

First category, Best Pop Video. Katy Perry had the pink and yellow envelope that would declare the winner. "And the winner is! One Direction!" Katy Perry had declared One Direction the winner. Running up to get the award, they were almost in tears. Niall and Harry bith kissed Katy on the lips, (I was extremely jealous of Katy) while Zayn, Liam, and Louis kissed her on the cheek, due to the fact that they have girlfriends.

Time for their first performance! The boys have prepared for this night for at least two months. Hitting the stage, Liam and the boys were overwhelmed with how many girls were there to supoort them. Everytime they would do a solo, the girls would scream and go nuts!

Their third award was all thanks to the Directioners on Twitter, Most Share-Worthy Video. Trending #VoteOneDirection, they were extremely close to over 23 million shares. Directioners world wide had this picture on ther Facebook or Twitter account. Needless to say, One Direction won!

What We've Read In Class

Who knew that  a tick bite could make you allergic to meat? Well it's a thing. Swollen eyes, bumps that cover your body, and wheezing are symptoms.

I've known tick bites to give you Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, but never to make you allergic to meat. Have I ever been bitten? Well, yes, one time. Thankfully I was fine and caught the tick in time. Nowadays, creatures are to complex and to sickening to humans and animals alike. Even though we know they are there, we sometimes don't know what they are capable of.

Whenever you go on a trip or somewhere that is very wooded, make sure that you check your hair, legs, arms, and back for any ticks that may have attached themselves to you. If you realize that there is a tick attached to you, try to remove it. If the head has been completely inserted, find something you can get it out with. Get someone to drive you to  the nearest hospital as soon as you find a tick.

The nurses and doctors will assist you from here. They'll run several tests on you just to see how serious this bite really is. If its very serious, 9 times out of 10 they'll make you stay over night. It is just a safety hazard so no need to worry.

Next time you notice red bumps and you start to wheeze, make sure that you go straight to the emergency room, cause there is almost a 100% chance that you have been bitten by a tick.

The Lucky One

Being a United States Marine isn't all that easy. From boot camp to drills and marching, they are in top mental and physical shape. Nicholas Sparks is one of the most beloved writers of all time. From The Notebook to The Last Song, he is still proving himself as an iconic writer.

The Lucky One, a book about a marine that unexpectedly finds love just by tracking down a girl from a photo. During a tour of duty in Iraq, Logan Thibault, a US marine, is walking through the sands and discovers a photo of a beautiful blonde hair, brown eyed girl. Turning the picture over, he discovers a partial love note that says, "Love you, E." Perplexed by what the girls name could possibly be, he sticks the photo in his pocket and walks the half mile back to base.

Meanwhile, in North Carolina, a girl named Elizabeth is at a birthday party for her friends' son. Water gun fights are breaking out and she's breaking a sweat. Ben, her son, is sweating and red in the face. Beth's friend brings out the cake and presents for her son. Unfortunately, Beth and Ben have to leave the party a little early due to the fact that her son has to be at his dads by nine. Beth and Ben's dad had been separated for a while; Beth says it was lust not love.

Logan pulls out the picture while lying in his bunk and a fellow marine notices the picture and smirks. A confused look shoots across Logan's face and he asks, "What is so funny?" The marine says nothing and crawls into his bunk and immediately falls asleep. Guessing name after name, "Ellie, Elaine, Eliza, Ellen," he tires himself out and falls asleep.

Elizabeth and Logan have no idea what will happen in the next six months. Hopefully all goes well right?

Random Post: Favorite Song By Warrant

Warrant is a 1980s hair metal band that I love so much. Their song "Heaven" is my absolute favorite by them and I listen to it almost everyday. Below are the lyrics and a summary in my own words.

Verse 1- Got a picture of your house where you're standing by the door. It's black and white and faded, man it's looking pretty worn. I see the factory that I worked, silhouetted in the back. Memories are gray but man they're really coming back. I don't need to be the king of the of the world as long as I'm the hero of this little girl.
Chorus- Heaven isn't too far away, closer to it everyday. No matter what your friends might say.
Verse 2- How I love the way you move and the sparkle in your eyes theres a color deep inside you like a blue suburban sky. When I come home late at night and you're in bed asleep, I rap my arms around you so I can feel you breathe. I don't need to be a superman as long as you will always be my biggest fan.
Chorus- Heaven isn't to far away, closer to it everyday, no matter what you're friends might say, we'll find our way, yeah
(Guitar solo)
Verse 3- Now the lights are going out along the boulevard, memories come rushing back and it makes it pretty hard. I've got no where left to go, and no one really cares, I don't know what to do, nut I'm never giving up on you.
Chorus- Heaven isn't too far away, closer to it everyday, no matter what your friends say, I know we're gonna find our way.
Bridge- Heaven, oh, oh, oh, oh. Heaven, oh, oh, oh, oh. Heaven its not too far away oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah.

What I think Jani is trying to say is, that no matter what tour he is on or what interview he is doing, he has the memories from his daughters and wife. The line "I don't need to be a superman, as long as you will always be my biggest fan," is my favorite line from the song. His oldest daughter, Taylor, was and still is his biggest supporter. He was her superman. Taylor, his daughter, inspired the vast majority of this song.
Unfortunately, Jani Lane, the singer, passed away on August 11, 2011. Jani was going through a rough time with his kids and ex-wife. Binging for a straight week, alcohol got the best of him. Dead at the age of 47, Jani Lane, will always be remembered.
"We never thought that when the song 'Heaven' was written we would be playing it someday in the memory of Jani's untimely death," guitarist Erik Turner said after learning of Lane's passing.

Vas Happenin' In Algebra 2!

In the eighth grade, I was a step ahead of other eighth graders. What I mean is, I took Algebra I in eighth grade, Geometry in ninth grade, and now I am taking what is considered to be a junior class, Algebra II.

This week in Algebra, we have learned how to solve special case problems, compound inequalities, and absolute value inequalities. Some of it is related to Algebra I. Going by at least three to four steps, you have to make sure that you are working the problem right and substitute the number you've gotten for your variable.

Mrs.Waldrop, the teacher, has only five sophomores in her third period Algebra II class. Making it very easy for us to learn or get one on one time if we need it. If you don't get the problem or you are struggling to grasp something, then Mrs.Waldrop will gladly help you with whatever the problem may be.

Honestly, I wish she could have been my Geometry teacher as well. Mrs.Waldrop is the nicest math teacher I have ever met and she is really caring and really cool! Every day I look forward to hearing her southern belle accent and she makes me really excited about the lesson for that day.

I Wanna Be A Billionaire So Freakin' Bad

We read an article entitled Of Brainiacs and Billionaires. While reading the article, there were words that kind of made your brain "hiccup" if you didn't know what they meant.

After reading through the first two or three sentences, I got a little lost. The author was using big words that I didn't understand. Slowly but surely, I started to use context clues and understand it more. Words like "cognitive" threw me off in the beginning. Using context clue after context clue, I pieced together the clues to kind of make a definition for the word so I could understand it more.

Why do they use such ginormous words? They use those words to test your knowledge of how to use context clues. Throughout the passage, you find words like "cognitive." By using your clues you can try to verify what the words actually mean.

For me, this article was to complicated and advanced for my brain to process. Even though I've tried using big words, I've never seen big words like those of usage in this passage. Good for some, not good for others. Don't get me wrong, I'm always looking for new ways to expand my vocabulary.

Finding new ways to expand your vocabulary is kind of like giving your brain a work out.  Sometimes, after a long day at school, my brain is tired and doesn't really like to think. Other days, I'm just thinking about anything and everything.

Next time you are reading a paper or article and you come across a word you don't understand, use this little thing called context clues.

The Demon of Screamin': Steven Tyler

Steven Tyler, the demon of screamin'. I am absolutely in love with Aerosmith, and of course Steven Tyler. He is my rock 'n' roll icon. The book tells about events in his life that lead to the 1970 forming of iconic band, Aerosmith.

Steven Victor Tallerico, was born in Bronx, NY on March 24, 1968. When he was old enough to travel, his parents headed straight to the town of Sunapee, New Hampshire. Growing up he was around music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. His dad was in a band that did more of the ballroom music to entertain hotel guests.

Steven Tyler was a self-proclaimed mama's boy. Discovering drugs at the age of ten, he would try his hardest to find it and smoke them with his friends. Mama Tallerico wasn't very happy. Hiding stashes of drugs and other illegal things, his mom would raid his drawers and he would try to pry his mother away from the drawer. Steven would be grounded for weeks to months at a time.

Eleven days before his nineteenth birthday, Steven Tallerico was arrested for smoking pot. After all those years, the law had finally caught up to him. Susan, his mom, was not very pleased with Steven at the time. I mean, I would be too if that was my child. All in all, he always got his fair share of being cussed out and being beaten with a wooden spoon.

Sleep was always the first thing on Steven's mind. Having an apple tree in their back yard, Steven's dad would pick them and throw them at Steven to wake them up in the morning. After waking up, it was straight to the hotel they were playing at that night. You've got to start somewhere though right?

I Have The One Direction Infection(;

One Direction went from five ordinary boys on the stairs, to the most popular teen boyband in the world. They inspire every day and have a loyal fan base of Directioners.

In the beginning, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson were just five boys auditioning seperatley. On the UK version of The X Factor, the boys didn't know each other. After the grueling audition process, they found out they had made it throught to the judges houses.

When the tough part came, Niall, Zayn, Louis, Liam, and Harry, were cut from the competition. But a judges sudden "aha" moment happens, One Direction will be formed. Nicole Scherzinger, from the forever popular Pussycat Dolls, decided that the five boys had too much talent to put to waste. She suggested to Simon Cowell that they call back the five and put them in a band.

Callback time! Approaching the stage with each other, hand in hand, they were nervous as to what they needed. Simon Cowell proceeded to say, "We've decided to make you guys into a group." Harry and the other four hit the floor after hearing this.

Week after week, the boys were put through to the next round. Until, it was the week before the final, One Direction and two other talented people were brought forward. Waiting to hear the results was agonizing pain. When the results came out, One Direction was not going to be in the final.

Devastated, the boys were interviewed about what they were going to do after X Factor. Zayn Malik said "Well, we're going to stay together and make records."
Indeed they did make records and built up an approximate 28.7 million Directioners worldwide. As soon as their debut album Up All Night hit stores, it sold over 100,000 copies the first week! Making them bigger than Justin Bieber! "What Makes You Beautiful", the band's debut single, was top of the charts for eight weeks ina row.

One Direction has set to release their new single, "Live While We're Young", in the US on October 1, 2012. The new album is set to release in the US on November 13, 2012.

One more thing, I am a very proud Directioner and I am not afraid to say it!

What We've Read In Class

Today in class we read an article entitled, Planet Earth Doesn't Know How To Make It Any Clearer It Wants Everyone To Leave. The article was completely satirical and was about Earth talking giving us "hints" as to why it wants us to leave.

In my own personal opinion, we abuse the Earth way to much. We live on Earth and care way less than we honestly should. Living on Earth should not be something that we put to waste, we have recycling bins for a reason people!

If I were to ask people if they recycle, I would be willing to bet that at least 99% would say "no." And you wonder why we can't have nice things everywhere. Before you try to trash Earth, think. My family always says "Think before you act, not act before you think." Truthful words of the wise. Everyone that lives on Earth should at least take one or two extra steps to make sure that Earth is cleaner and healthier.

Recycling, one of the many ways that we can help conserve our planet. Products that are made out of foam, plastic, or cardboard can be put into a bin or trashcan to be disposed of properly. recycling bins are put in shopping malls, grocery stores, convenience stores, and amusement parks, like Carowinds, to make sure that you can dispose of your waste properly.

So the next time you decide to use something made of plastic or foam, make sure you dispose of that item properly. Remember, "Think before you act, not act before you think."

From Carowinds to Football Games:)

Summer break this year was quite interesting. During the break, I went to the beach, Carowinds, and a football game. My summer vacation was action packed and full of redneck moments and family time.

One of my favorite places to go during summer vacation is Carowinds. Carowinds is the thrill capital of the southeast. Every year, I go to Carowinds to ride the rollercoasters and goof off with my family. The Intimidator is my favorite ride over there and I ride it at least five times before ever leaving the park. Other rides that I enjoy screaming my heart out on are the Carolina Cobra, the Nighthawke, and the Afterburn. Going to Carwinds is a ritual for me. This year was the best by far. When I went with my aunt Shannon, we walked by the water park and my sister sees a water tank and hollers out, "I think they are heating up the water!" Dying of laughter, Megan was embarrassed.

Sand, sun, and fun. I'm talking about Wilmington, NC. Every year my parents take us to the beach. Getting down there is the longest drive ever. Arriving at the beach, we go straight for the boardwalk to go shopping. Usually we get a shirt and a shark tooth necklace. This year was simply the best. Robert Downey Jr, my absolute favorite actor from movies like Tropic Thunder and Iron Man, was at the beach filming for a movie, Safehaven. When the movie hits theaters, I will be going to see it.

Screaming fans, popcorn, peanuts, cotton candy. Thats a sure fire sign that football is starting back. My dad and I try to go to a football game every so often. He is a huge Carolina Panther fan. I, however, am a New England Patriots fan. My dad got tickets to the Miami at Carolina game last weekend. He called three people before asking me if I wanted to go. I accepted and went, hoping that Miami would annilate the Panthers, due to the fact that I cannot stand Cam Newton. We went and had our usual daddy/daughter time.

So this is what my summer vacation looks like. Enjoy it!
